Montrail I.C.E. 9 Gaiter Features

The I.C.E. 9 Gaiter is a custom-designed boot-top gaiter that integrates with the I.C.E. 9 boot via molded clips on either side of the boot. This unique design creates a better seal around the boot and eliminates all fabric and straps from the rand area and outsole. The result is more simple and easy-to-use gaiter that won't hinder the climber's efforts. The gaiter was developed through a joint effort between Outdoor Research and Montrail and is being manufactured for Montrail by OR. Extra wide Velcro closure system runs up the front of the gaiter for easy attachment and adjustment. Waterproof stretch-Schoeller fabric is extremely durable, while being supple and comfortable. Custom-designed hooks and webbing system allow quick and easy attachment to the boot and hold the gaiter in place in all snow conditions.
